Terms and who makes Rubidu
Rubidu is made and sold by one independent developer. This page says in plain words what you are buying and how payment works. The full licence agreement is shown in the app when you install it.
Who I am
Ujjwal Aggarwal, an independent developer in India. Write to heyrubidu@gmail.com for anything: questions, a problem, or a privacy request.
Before you buy
Sales are final, so please check that Rubidu suits your Mac first: it needs an Apple-silicon Mac with 16 GB of memory and macOS 26.2 or later, and it is English first. The guides on this site show what it does and what its limits are. This does not take away any right the law gives you where you live, such as a right to cancel a distance purchase.
What you are buying
- A licence to install and use Rubidu on Apple-silicon Macs that you own or use, and to keep a backup copy. You cannot resell, rent, copy or take apart the app.
- The app works offline once it is set up. It sends nothing about you or your use to me or to anyone.
- Updates are never installed on their own. You choose whether to install one.
- Rubidu is software with an AI model that sometimes gets things wrong. It is not for emergencies or for medical, legal, financial or safety decisions, and it is provided as it is, without warranty, within what the law allows.
Payment and taxes
Payment, receipts and any sales tax or VAT are handled by the shop that sells Rubidu, which is the seller you pay. Their terms about payment, delivery and cancellation apply to the purchase.
Privacy
Rubidu has no account and no tracking. This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics. See [the privacy page](privacy.html) and [how to check that Rubidu is private](is-rubidu-private.html).
Questions
Can I get a refund?
Sales are final, except where the law or the shop's own terms give you a right to cancel or be refunded. Please check the requirements before you buy.
Can I use Rubidu on more than one Mac?
On Apple-silicon Macs that you own or use, yes.
